Industry Advisory Council (IAC)
PURPOSE: The purpose of the Industry Advisory Council (IAC) is to act as a liaison between the Indiana School Nutrition Association (ISNA) and interested parties marketing their goods and services to the school food service community. The IAC shall promote interaction and mutual cooperation between industry and members of ISNA.
IAC consists of nine elected industry members (from companies who are Gold or Silver partners and represent the various industry sectors). IAC members must be nominated by a fellow IAC member to be elected and to serve. The IAC also has six ISNA representatives from various positions on the ISNA board (those that have a direct impact on events where industry exhibits). Current IAC Chairperson: Renee Bowen, SNS, Descon, Inc.
IAC must have a minimum of two meetings per year, but typically has four meetings that are scheduled in conjunction with the ISNA Executive Board meetings.
