Who We Are

About the Indiana School Nutrition Association (ISNA)

ISNA is the Indiana state affiliate of the School Nutrition Association.  ISNA is made up of over 1500 school nutrition professionals who work throughout the state of Indiana.  ISNA's members come from all segments of school foodservice, including foodservice directors, managers, and employees.  In addition, ISNA has over 100 industry partners who serve as valued resources to its members.

Members of ISNA are divided into regions based on congressional district.  ISNA offers a variety of education and training opportunities to members and non-members throughout the state of Indiana.  ISNA works closely with the Indiana Department of Education in implementing school nutrition policies at districts throughout the state.

The ISNA Executive Director holds the permanent address of the association and handles the business affairs (event registration, member questions, Food for Thought publication) of the association.

The leadership of ISNA works very hard to support its members by providing effective and useful learning and networking opportunities to continually improve the field of child nutrition in Indiana.  The ISNA Executive Board is made up of the following elected positions:

President (1 year term)
President Elect (1 year term)
Vice President (1 year term)
Secretary / Treasurer (2 year term)
Regional Representatives (9 total representatives)

The current President appoints the remainder of the Executive Board with the approval of the Board.  For current slate of officers, please click here.  The Executive Board holds at least four business meetings per year.  For minutes of past meetings, click here.
