Apply Today: Continue Bob Rybolt’s Legacy of Serving Indiana’s Children
The Indiana School Nutrition Association is honored to recognize the legacy of Robert “Bob” Rybolt through the J.T.M. Food Group Robert “Bob” Rybolt Memorial Scholarship.
In memory of Bob, J.T.M. Food Group established this scholarship fund to continue his legacy and dedication to the school districts of Indiana. Bob spent more than 38 years with J.T.M. Food Group, where he developed a deep appreciation for the customers and school nutrition professionals he served.
Bob was a passionate advocate for feeding students, not only throughout Indiana but across the country. His commitment to helping others was at the heart of his work and the relationships he built throughout his career.
When Bob was asked in December 2022 what he liked best about his work, his answer was simple: “All the people, helping people.” He went on to share his desire to make someone else’s life better.
Those words capture the spirit of Bob’s legacy. His courageous, beautiful, and affectionate spirit resonated throughout every area of his life, leaving a lasting impression on the people fortunate enough to know him.
Continue Bob’s Legacy
The Indiana School Nutrition Association is proud to offer the Robert “Bob” Rybolt Memorial Scholarship in memory of a beloved friend and colleague.
The scholarship is available to a Director-level individual who demonstrates a commitment to the work Bob cared so deeply about: feeding Indiana’s children.
Applicants are asked to describe, in 500 words or less, how their professional attributes and role align with Bob’s dedication to feeding Indiana’s children. Preference will be given to a Director-level individual who demonstrates financial need.
Through this scholarship, Bob’s commitment to helping others continues to make a difference in the school nutrition profession.
