This summer, the Indiana School Nutrition Association launched an exciting new professional development opportunity for school nutrition managers with its inaugural Manager’s Summer Training, offered at two convenient locations in Indianapolis and Valparaiso.

Facilitated by Jeff Joiner, the training focused on three important themes: Grow, Lead, and Nourish. Participants explored practical strategies to grow as professionals, lead with confidence, strengthen their teams, and continue to nourish the students and communities they serve.
The training provided managers with fresh ideas and valuable tools to address the everyday challenges of school nutrition while creating positive and productive team environments.
Connecting, Collaborating, and Growing
Both training events offered managers a meaningful opportunity to step away from their daily responsibilities, connect with colleagues, share experiences, and learn from one another.
The conversations and collaboration throughout both trainings reinforced the importance of strong communication, effective leadership, and continued professional growth.
Investing in Tomorrow’s Leaders
By investing in the development of school nutrition managers, ISNA is helping cultivate confident leaders who are prepared to support their teams, strengthen their programs, and make a lasting difference in the lives of students.
The energy and participation at both locations made this first manager-focused summer training a success and an exciting new addition to ISNA’s professional development opportunities.
Together, we’re Growing leaders, Strengthening programs, and Nourishing Indiana’s students!
