Summer was a productive and inspiring season for the Indiana School Nutrition Association, providing valuable opportunities to plan for the future, expand our knowledge, and connect with school nutrition professionals from across Indiana and the country.

Planning for the Year Ahead

In June, the ISNA Board of Directors came together for its annual retreat, dedicating time to reflect on the organization’s accomplishments, update the strategic plan, and develop marketing strategies and priorities for the upcoming school year.

The retreat provided an important opportunity for Board members to collaborate, share ideas, identify areas for growth, and ensure ISNA continues to meet the evolving needs of its membership.

Learning on the National Stage

In July, Indiana school nutrition professionals traveled to Charlotte, North

Carolina, for the School Nutrition Association’s Annual National Conference.

The conference provided opportunities to learn from industry experts, explore emerging trends and innovations in school nutrition, attend educational sessions, discover new products and resources, and network with colleagues and industry partners from across the country.

Attendees returned to Indiana with new ideas, practical strategies, and renewed enthusiasm for the important work of providing nutritious, appealing meals and creating positive experiences for students.

Building Momentum Together

From strategic planning to learning and networking on the national stage, this summer helped ISNA build momentum for the year ahead. These experiences strengthened our commitment to supporting the school nutrition professionals who make a difference in the lives of Indiana students every day.

As we look ahead to a new school year, ISNA is excited to put that momentum into action and continue growing, serving, and connecting together.
